Pre-Wedding/Engagement  Shoot £199 or £99 if added to a wedding booking

Available as a standalone package the pre-wedding or engagement shoot is a chance for us to get to know each other. Choose a location that’s special to you..... somewhere idyllic maybe or the hustle and bustle of the urban landscape or perhaps that special place where you got engaged. We’ll meet up have a relaxed chat then go for stroll and capture some memories. I prefer to be flexible with dates so we get the best weather for the day’s shoot.

Nobody likes having their photo taken, I understand it can be quite daunting but my warm and friendly approach will soon have you at ease. If this is part of a wedding package shoot, then it's a great chance for us to learn and relax in front of the camera and get the most out of your wedding photography so you can enjoy your day.

All images will be supplied in high resolution format, perfect for large prints, save the date cards and albums. A further set optimised for online sharing such as social media sites is also provided.

Bride & Groom Post Wedding Photos from £300

Chris Dickinson Photography is now offering a Post Wedding Photography Package. This package includes.

• 2 hours' post wedding shoot at a location of your choice
• A private gallery of your photographs, with every image of the highest quality, extensively yet naturally retouched, in full resolution ready to print.

There are many reasons couples are now requesting this. Here are just some of the reasons why...

Less Stress
The biggest reason couples take post-wedding photos is that the session allows brides to relax and not worry about the dress. By now, the dress is dirty. Instead of worrying about whether the dress will get dirty or damaged during your big day, brides can now relax and have fun on a separate shoot. The bride and the groom are generally calmer after the wedding so the session is more fun now the big day is behind them. They don't have hundreds of family and friends staring at them and there is no rush to move along to the day’s schedule. All the wedding day stress is over and it's just the two of you along with the photographer.

Better Weather and Lighting
You can't predict the weather a year in advance when you set your wedding date but we can control this with set date afterwards to get the best possible lighting. If it rains on your wedding day, we can make sure your post-wedding day is sunny. Maybe your wedding date is in winter but you would like spring Bride & Groom shots. You have more control over weather and even time of day, which affects the lighting, with post-wedding sessions.

More Time
The wedding day timeline! Being married myself and experiencing the day first hand and now sharing in lots of beautiful wedding days I will guarantee the couple shots are the last thing on your mind during your whirlwind fairy-tale. The 30 minutes of photo time with the photographer soon gets trimmed when someone's late, the groups don’t come together on time, you’re enjoying the drinks reception with your favourite aunt who won’t let go or things go wrong. It happens….. a lot…. Everything is happening in the blink of an eye, it’s easy to get swept away. Your photographer does the best he can but there is little time left for those stylized shots you wanted. On as post wedding session there is more control. You have a set start time that you control and there are no surprises. You can also take full advantage of my fashion shoot experience where I can also haul around extra lighting and equipment.

A Disaster
Due to unforeseen circumstances (weather etc.) the ideal place for a shoot, and what you had planned, to capture your precious memories didn't come to fruition due to these circumstances. Beautiful photos and beautiful locations take time and you want to capture that because on your day it just didn't happen how you thought it would in those 30 minutes.

Variety 
Yes you love your wedding venue or you would not have chosen it but maybe it wasn't ideal or you want some variety to add a completely different look for your wedding album. A post-wedding session will allow you to change your location because you have more time to drive around and get those great shots.
